Summary

This house dates to the late 18th century. It is built of red brick and has three storeys. The central door has a moulded surround and consoles supporting a pediment. Sarah Glover, who revolutionised the teaching of music and singing, lived in this house and practiced her methods on the children from the local workhouses. Listed Grade II.

Exterior briefly examined as part of Norwich Survey.
Three-storey, single room plan tenement with one ground floor room, one first floor room and one second floor room. Late 18th- or early 19th-century doorcase (?imported).
