September 1979. Building Survey.
Examined as part of Norwich Survey.
Late 18th-century or early 19th-century three-storey block. Possibility that it was once a two-storey block and raised later. 19th-century back block. One elaborate timber has been re-used in the ground floor - mouldings suggest a date of c. 1510. It is possible that this another roughly cut but unmoulded timber were from the Prior of Walsingham's house, which is said to have been on this site.
See record forms (S2) for further details, including section of moulder timber and copy of photograph.
