Summary

A row of early 19th century three-storey red brick houses, now flats, with 20th century rear additions. This development predated the cutting of Sussex Street in the 1820s. Listed Grade II.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"Former houses now flats, early 19th century with 20th century rear additions. Red brick. Black pantiles. Three storeys. Nine bays. Passage entry at extreme right. Two bays are blind windows above paired doors."

Examined as part of Norwich Survey.
Three-storey brick block forming an extension at right angles of a similar block in St Augustine's Street (Nos 42-52; NHER 48042). The development predates the cutting of Sussex Street in 1821-1824 and is shown on the 1807 map of Norwich. Only the façade survives.
