Summary

An 18th century three storey rendered brick former house, now an office. It has an ornate 19th century central doorway and a plaque to Amelia Opie, the celebrated Norwich authoress, who lived in a house on the site. It has now been incorporated into the adjacent Castle Chambers (NHER 48125), a solicitor's office

Listing Description Excerpt:
"Former house, now office. 18th century. Rendered brick and black pantiles. Three storeys. Three bays. 19th century central door with attached columns supporting ornate over-door. 19th century canted bay window to the right of the door with triple attached shafts with crocket capitals and decorative lintels."
