Summary

This Christian Science church was built in 1934-5 by Herbert G Ibberson in English bond buff-coloured brick, with slate roofs with parapeted gable ends. The nave of the church has narrow aisles, and there is a readers' platform in the chancel at the west end with flanking readers' rooms and a gallery at the east end. The building is in the Arts and Craft style, with some modern pieces.
