Full Description
No 2 Newmarket Road.
June 1972. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description excerpt:
"House. Mid 19th century. Rendered plinth; painted brick; hipped pantile roof; two red brick chimneys. Two storeys; three first-floor windows, symmetrical. Door has six raised and fielded panels, overlight with glazing bars and simple doorcase with pilasters under small flat hood…Box cornice. The left side elevation forms a three-window range with No. 2 Ipswich Road [NHER], originally part of the same property."

The forecourt wall and railings to No 2 Newmarket Road were separately listed Grade II in 1972. These are now recorded as NHER 68967.
