Summary

A row of early 19th-century three-storey red brick houses, now flats, with 20th-century rear additions. These buildings are not shown on an 1807 map of Norwich but appears to be earlier than the cutting of Sussex Street in the 1820s. Listed Grade II.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"Former houses, now flats. Early 19th century with 20th-century rear additions. Red brick and pantile roof. Three storeys. Eight bays.The end bays are recessed four and a half inches. Passage entry at extreme end. Two symmetrical centre facades each with central door."

October 1978. Building Survey.
Examined as part of Norwich Survey.
Three storey brick block, eight bays wide, with the two end bays slightly recessed. They are late Georgian in appearance and are set back from the street. It appears that they are earlier that the cutting Sussex Street in 1821-1824 but are not shown on the 1807 map of Norwich. Only the façade survives.
