Summary

A two storey knapped flint, brick and stone Gothick style cottage of about 1800, to either side of which is a one storey brick wing with an embattled parapet. All windows are Gothick style and arched, and there is a central first floor arched blind panel bearing the cottage's name on a stone plaque.

Listing Description:
"Cottage ornee of about 1800. Knapped flint, brick, stone dressings, hipped slate roof with oversailing eaves."

October 2008. Building survey.
The house is now divided into two. There are more recent extensions to the rear. It is probable that the house was a single lobby entrance dwelling dating to the early nineteenth century. The extensions appear to date from 1897.
