Summary

This shop dates to the early 19th century but has an earlier 17th century stair turret at the rear. It is built from yellow brick and has a pantile roof. It has sash windows throughout with rubbed brick flat arches. It now incorporates a small three-storey building of studwork construction to the rear of 26 Gentleman's Walk.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"Shop. Early 19th century with 17th-century stair turret at rear. Yellow brick and pantile roof. Four storeys. Two bays. 20th century shop front. Sash windows throughout with rubbed brick flat arches. Box cornice."

January 1981. Building Survey.
Examination of building to rear of 26 Gentlemen's Walk as part of Norwich Survey.
Small three-storey building of stud-work construction behind 19th-century shop. Original attic. Roof with single butt purlins and pegged principles at apex. The original roof had at least three bays. The second floor preserves a four-light window, with transom, pegged together.
