Summary

A 15th- century timber-framed open hall house with smoke-blackened hall truss surviving. Floor inserted and parlour built in early 17th century. The building was faced in red brick in the 19th century. There is a 19th-century brick porch.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"17th century timber-frame house, faced in red brick in 19th century. Steep black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends. Brick chimney stack off centre. Two storeys and attic (attic window in gable end). Three window range. First floor modern casements, ground floor sashes with glazing bars."
