October 2006. Building recording.
A thatched and rendered one and a half storey building giving the appearance of a lobby entrance house. The building appears to have been two-cell with a timber-framed chimney or smoke bay at one end and is likely to be of early to mid-16th century. At a later stage, probably in the 17th century, the chimney was replaced in brick and a lobby entrance with staircase was formed. In the 18th century the extra room and chimney stack was added to the north, probably for a kitchen.
See (S2) for further details.
