Summary

'Ancient and Modern' is a one storey late 17th or early 18th century rendered timber-frame cottage, with a thatched roof with gabled ends. The building has a central brick chimney stack, and a modern single-storey flat-roof addition on each end. There is a large modern wing at rear, rendered, pantile roof, one storey and attic.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"Late 17th or early 18th century timber-frame cottage, rendered. Thatched roof with gabled ends. Central brick chimney stack. One storey and attic (attic windows in end gables). Two windows. Modern casements with glazing bars. Modern single-storey flat-roof addition on each end."
