Full Description
November 1976. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description excerpt:
"Early 19th century red brick. Said to have been used for stocking manufacture. Pantile roof with gabled ends with coping. Brick dentil eaves. Three storeys. Five windows. Small segmental headed casements with glazing bars. Ground floor windows blocked or partly blocked."

Situated in Keely's Yard, Harleston Old Market Place. The building is a three-storey brick structure with a pantile roof. The factory was used to manufacture woollen hosiery. The factory is listed in Kelly's directory (S2) as a hosiery factory from 1888 to 1922. Since closure the factory has been converted into a private dwelling.

The mapped the location of this record has been corrected. Due to an error in (S1) it was previously mapped as a point at [1]. It was this error that resulted in the creation of a duplicate record in the correct location (NHER 55689, now revoked).
