Summary

This 16th/17th century timber-framed house has a plastered exterior. The steep gable-ended roof is covered with peg-tiles and pantiles. The two storeyed gabled porch at the centre has four-light mullion/transom windows and a lean-to at the side. The farmhouse has a fine brick chimneystack with four circular moulded brick flues. The southwest wing is at right angles, and was probably originally a separate cottage.
