Summary

Canterbury House is an early 19th-century house of rendered and colourwashed brick and flint. This two storey building has a pantile roof, the front slope of which black-glazed. Some 19th century windows survive, and there are internal chimney stacks to the north and south.

Listing Description excerpt:
"House. Early 19th century. Rendered and colourwashed brick, flint and brick to rear. Pantiled roof, black-glazed to front slope. Two storeys in three bays. Half-glazed door set to right within timber case comprising fluted pilasters with hood...Timber eaves cornice below gabled roof. Internal gable-end stacks north and south. Rear has a two storey outshut with casements and sashes. Interior - Rather altered. Two mid-19th century chimneypieces, one marble, the other timber."
