Revised Listing Description excerpt:
"Town Hall. Early 19th century. Brick with roof of black glazed pantiles. Three storeys in five bays. Central fielded and panelled door within timber case with margin lights and reeded pilaster strips. Segmental eight-vaned fanlight under gauged arch. Fenestration of sashes with glazing bars and gauged skewback arches, the lower two storeys also with discrete sash hoods. Double block timber eaves cornice. Gabled roof with internal gable-end stacks.
Interior - Stick baluster staircase with ramped and wreathed handrail. Council chamber with a Regency fire surround: leaf trails to jambs, centre swag, dentil cornice under mantelpiece."
