Summary

No 55 is a house, probably originally with a shop, and despite its largely 19th-century appearance has 17th-century origins. This two-storey building is of brick with a pantiled roof, and a 19th century pannelled door.

"House, probably originally with shop. 17th century origins, but details now 19th century. Brick with pantiled roof. Two storeys. 19th century panelled door to left. Two late 20th century sashes immediately right in disturbed wall, probably site of shop window. Door and windows under segmental arches."
