Summary

No 59 was originally a house and a shop, though now is used only as a house. This two storey building was building of brick in the late 18th century, and has a pantile roof and a number of 19th-century windows.

Listing Description excerpt:
"House and shop, now only a house. Late 18th century. Brick with pantile roof. Two storeys in three bays. Central panelled door within timber doorcase. Main shop display window to right with the glazing replaced late 19th century but retaining bowed lintel and hood-box."

To remove a modern staircase along with stud walls around and fit a new staircase. Create opening above new staircase, fit two roof lights in the pitched roof. Remove stud wall between two doorways on ground floor.
