Summary

This former gardener's cottage dates to around 1790. It has an attached contemporary walled garden. The cottage is built from red brick with a pantiled roof. It has two storeys and three bays of sash windows. The central front door has raised and fielded panels and is set beneath a skewback arch. The tall walls to the garden have flat stone coping and an entrance in the west wall.

Former gardener's cottage attached to and contemporary with walled garden. Dating to around 1790. Probably associated with Sir John Soane. Red brick with pantiled roof. Two storeys and three bays of sash windows with glazing bars, beneath skewback arches at ground floor. Central front door with raised and fielded panels beneath skewback arch. Hipped roof with projecting eaves. Two chimneystacks to rear. Tall walls to garden with flat stone coping. Entrance in west wall beneath segmental arch with planked door with moulded cover strips.
