Summary

A Unitarian Chapel built in 1822, now a masonic hall. It has painted brick walls, a hipped slate roof and a Doric-style pedimented porch. The surrounding cast-iron railings (recorded separately as NHER 63158) also date to the early 19th century.

Listing Description Excerpt:
No 18A (Masonic Hall, formerly listed as Unitarian Chapel):
"1822, brick, painted. Slate roof, hipped, Wood tetra-style Doric pedimented porch. Sash window with glazing bars, each side, with blank panel above at gallery level and central casement with flush frame and glazing bars, On return two tall sash windows with glazing bars and in arched recesses."
