House. 16th century and later, much altered. Timber frame rendered and colourwashed; steeply-pitched pantile roof. Later two-storey range to west of partly colourwashed red brick with shallow-pitched roof. One and a half storeys. Former hall-house with chimney stack introduced into cross-passage to form lobby entrance. Fenestration generally 20th century; two three-light casements with some leaded glazing. Three widely-spaced windows on front elevation with three gabled attic dormers. Large red brick axial stack off-centre to east with entrance door opposite. Parapeted west gable to later range with internal chimney stack.
Later extensions on south side; two 20th century dormers in south slope of main roof.
Interior: inserted floor over hall to west of stack on tie beam with ogee chamfer stops. 17th century butt-purlin roof on jowled principal posts; diagonal braces to studwork probably later additions.
