Summary

Nos 61 and 63 Damgate Street form a pair of houses which originally had a shop front, although they are now purely domestic. This two-storey building dates to the late 18th century and is of brick with a pantile roof. The two central doors are separated by an early 19th-century former shop display window.

Listing Description excerpt:
"Pair of houses with a shop front, now purely domestic. Late 18th century. Brick with pantile roof. two storeys and dormer attic in three wide bays. Symmetrical. Two central doors under segmental heads separated by an early 19th-century former shop display window...Saw-toothed eaves cornice below gabled roof with two flat-topped dormers lit through casements. Internal gable-end stacks north and south."
