Garden walls associated with West House (NHER 47449) and Ilex House (NHER 47392).

June 1972. Listed, Grade II.
Four separately listed sections of wall. Listing Description excerpts:

"Boundary wall of gardens of Ilex House, and West House, to west of the Ilex House [List Entry 1278778].
18th century, red brick with buttress piers, about 9 ft [2.7m] high."

"Boundary walls of West House to south [List Entry 1230958].
18th-century walls of south garden, red brick with pier buttresses, and cope about 7 ft [2.1m] to 8 ft [2.4m] high."

"Garden Wall of Ilex House to the south of the house [List Entry 1230116].
18th-century, tuncut flint with red brick dressings including cope and pair of yellow brick piers with stone caps, about 7 ft [2.1m] high, rounded on plan at drive entrance."

"Boundary walls of West House to north [List Entry 1230692].
18th-century walls of north garden repaired after flood, red brick with cope, 7 ft [2.1m] high north wall, west wall 4ft 6 ins [1.4m] high flint with brick dressings and cope, east wall 4 ft [1.2m] to 8 ft [2.4m] high flint with brick dressings and cope and square piers at angle."
