Full Description
August 2006. Norfolk NMP
Cropmarks of two possible parallel ditches of unknown date are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred on TM 3974 9377. Two possible parallel ditch cropmarks extend for up to 330m on a parallel southwest to northeast alignment between TM 3960 9371 to TM 3989 9385. They are spaced up to 22m apart. The alignment of these cropmarks does not correspond to that of the post medieval field pattern and their date is unknown. If these are ditch cropmarks it is possible that they define a road or trackway or that they are field boundaries. It is also possible that the cropmarks have a modern agricultural origin.
J. Albone (NMP), 17 August 2006.
