Map

August 2006. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of undated linear ditches are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred on TM 3911 9356. Six sections of linear ditch cropmarks are present on a parallel roughly southwest to northeast alignment. These cropmarks lie parallel to Leyden Lane, which is probably of medieval to post medieval origin. It is likely that they are field boundaries of this date. Two of the ditch cropmarks overlap cropmarks of possible medieval ridge and furrow at the western end of the group (NHER 44975). An L-shaped ditch cropmark to the west of Leyden Lane may form one corner of an incomplete enclosure. However, this cropmark is too fragmentary for the shape and dimensions of the possible enclosure to be determined.
