Map

August 2006. Norfolk NMP
Earthworks of ditches and a pond of probable medieval to post medieval date are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S3). These earthworks are centred on TM 3747 9404. An earthwork of a curving ditch or channel in a small valley is present on a roughly southwest to northeast alignment. A group of rectilinear ditch earthworks are present to the west of and appear to lead into this channel. To the east of the channel is another linear ditch earthwork that leads into it from an elongated pond. These earthworks do not correspond to any features marked on the 1839 Kirby Cane tithe map (S4) but are likely to be of medieval to post medieval origin.
