Summary

Earthworks of ditches, a possible platform and pond are visible on aerial photographs. A possible earthwork platform with a roughly trapezoidal shape is present. Earthwork ditches are present around and to the north of the platform. An earthwork of a broad ditch or elongated pond is also present in the east of the group. It is likely that these earthworks are of medieval to post medieval date, but their specific functions are unclear.

Earthworks of ditches, a possible platform and pond are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2). These earthworks are centred on TM 3705 9364. The possible earthwork platform is roughly trapezoidal in plan and measures 45m by 23m. It is defined by a narrow earthwork ditch on its north, east and south sides. Further earthwork ditches are present to the north of the platform. An earthwork of a broad ditch or elongated pond is present in the east of the group. It is likely that these earthworks are of medieval to post medieval date, but their specific functions are unclear.
