Full Description
August 2006. Norfolk NMP
Cropmarks of an undated rectilinear enclosure are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred on TM 3628 9363. A faint enclosure cropmark with a parallelogram shaped plan is present on a northwest to southeast axis. It is defined by a 4m wide ditch and has external dimensions of 38m by 33m. The ditch forming the northeast side of the enclosure continues to its northwest and southeast for a total distance of 68m. The alignment of this enclosure does not correspond to the post medieval field pattern and its date and function are unknown.
J. Albone (NMP), 21 August 2006
