Summary

A cropmark of a ring ditch of possible Bronze Age date is visible on aerial photographs. The ring ditch is sub-circular in plan with a narrow ditch and a maximum external diameter of 8m. A single gap, possibly a deliberate entrance is present in the northern side of the ring ditch. It is possible that this ring ditch is of Bronze Age date and that it relates to a round barrow. It is situated at the foot of a gentle southwest-facing valley slope at 9m OD.

A cropmark of a ring ditch of possible Bronze Age date is visible on aerial photographs (S1-S3). This cropmark is located at TM 3643 9338. The ring ditch is sub-circular in plan with a narrow ditch and a maximum external diameter of 8m. A single gap, possibly a deliberate entrance is present in the northern side of the ring ditch. It is possible that this ring ditch is of Bronze Age date and that it relates to a small round barrow. It is situated at the foot of a gentle southwest-facing valley slope at 9m OD.
