Full Description
May-December 2006 and April 2007. Watching Brief.
Monitoring of groundworks associated with construction of residential development. Contexts 1-39.
A ditch, post medieval pits, a post medieval well and a former quarry pit were observed.
Late Saxon, medieval and post medieval pottery sherds were recovered from deposits within the footing trenches.
No archaeological evidence for structures was recovered.
