Summary

An archaeological watching brief was carried out to monitor groundworks during residential development at Aylsham Road in 2007. A ditch, post medieval pits, a post medieval well and a former quarry pit were observed and several sherds of medieval pottery were recovered from deposits within the footing trenches.

No archaeological evidence for structures was recovered.
