Linear ditch cropmarks of unknown date are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2). These cropmarks were previously recorded as part of NHER 11775. A single linear ditch cropmark is present for 375m on a southwest to northeast alignment. A second faint ditch cropmark is present for 50m on a parallel alignment 7.5m to its southeast. It has previously been suggested that these cropmarks relate to a Roman road (See NHER 11775). There is no evidence to support that interpretation and the suggestion has been also been dismissed. It is most likely that these cropmarks relate to a boundary ditch, probably a field boundary, of unknown date. They are crossed by cropmarks of possible medieval field boundaries (NHER 45061) and cut by a modern field boundary.
