Map

October 2006. Norfolk NMP.
An undated enclosure is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1) and (S2), centred at TG 4102 1870. Its function is not known, but subdivisions within it may reflect settlement or some other specialised function. It is part of a more extensive multi-period site, NHER 45072, and it shares its orientation with some other elements of this larger site, such as the enclosure group or field system, NHER 45096, visible 350m to the southwest. These aligned features, although widely spaced, could be contemporary. Some nearby ditches could also belong the same phase of activity.

The enclosure is not completely visible and its cropmarks are not particularly clear on the consulted aerial photographs. It appears to have a broadly rectilinear, almost square, plan; all three visible corners are rounded. It measures 58m by 61m.
