Map

October 2006. Norfolk NMP
Cropmarks of linear ditches of unknown date area visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred on TG 3108 1030. A group of ten linear ditch cropmarks are present. These mainly lie on southwest to northeast and northwest to southeast alignments creating a broken rectilinear plan. It is possible that they relate to field boundaries or enclosures but they are too fragmentary for their exact form or function to be determined. Their alignment does not conform to that of the post medieval field pattern, but appears to follow the slope of a small valley side on which they are located.
J. Albone (NMP), 10 October 2006
