Map

October 2006. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of rectilinear and curvilinear field boundaries of probable medieval to post medieval date are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred on TG 3446 1324. A roughly west to east aligned curving field boundary cropmark is present with parallel and perpendicular ditches to its south. The long west to east ditch is marked on the 19th century Woodbastwick tithe map (S2) and it is likely that the related field boundary cropmarks are also of medieval to post medieval date. A curving linear ditch cropmark is also present on a roughly northwest to southeast alignment. This is probably also a field boundary of possible medieval date. It is likely that these cropmarks relate to the field boundaries present immediately to the southeast (NHER 18155)
J. Albone (NMP), 16 October 2006.
