Eight sections of linear ditch cropmark are present at this location. They are mainly oriented on west to east and north to south alignments that do not correspond to the post medieval field pattern shown on the 1838 Hemblington tithe map (S2). The date of these field boundaries is unknown.

February 2021. National Mapping Programme (NMP) Data Clean-Up.
The Monument Polygon defining the site has been expanded to include a small amount of revised and additional mapping in the northeast corner of the site (at TG 3496 1186). The features had been mapped but not included within a Monument Polygon, presumably due to an oversight. They were visible on (S3), presumably as cropmarks.
S. Tremlett (Norfolk County Council, Historic Environment Service), 26 February 2021.
