Summary

Metal detecting between 2006 and 2017 recovered a Late Neolithic flint core, a post-medieval coin, and Roman, medieval, and post medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Roman brooch and steelyard weight; a medieval belt mount, clasp, and horse harness bell; a medieval/post-medieval paperclip rivet, copper alloy vessel fragment, weight and bell; and post-medieval buttons, weight, spur, lead cloth seal, belt mount, ring and hooked book clasp.

June-July 2006. Metal-detecting rally.
1 Late Neolithic flint Levallois core.
1 Roman coin, 1 lead steelyard weight and 1 brooch (Dolphin type).
3 medieval coins, 1 belt mount and 1 horse harness bell.
1 medieval/post-medieval paperclip rivet, 1 vessel leg fragment, 1 lead trade weight and 1 bell.
7 post-medieval coins, 1 jetton, 1 lead weight, 1 spur, 2 buttons, 1 lead cloth seal, 1 belt mount, 1 ring and 1 hooked book clasp.
