Map

October 2002. Norfolk NMP.
On the 1988 BKS aerial photographs (S1) the A149 road runs along the top of a raised bank for approximately 580m from TF 9495 4290 to TF 9550 4311. The earthwork appears to be up to 20m across in places. It is possible that this is due to the road surface being artificially raised at this point, although the bank may have been an existing feature of possible post-medieval or earlier date.
S. Massey (NMP), 25 October 2002.
