Full Description
October 2002. Norfolk NMP.
The earthworks of a ditch with several rectilinear elements is visible on the 1988 BKS aerial photographs (S1) and is centred on TF 9843 4438. The ditches form a three-sided enclosure-like feature, measuring 21m by 66m. This is likely to be part of the post medieval drainage and improvement of the saltmarshes, or is possibly related to the keeping of stock on the marshes.
S. Massey (NMP), 1 November 2002.
