Map

October 2002. Norfolk NMP.
The earthworks of post medieval sea defence banks are visible on aerial photographs on saltmarsh at Morston (S1). These banks are likely to be part of the post medieval enclosure and drainage of the saltmarsh in Morston.
The line of former embankment on saltmarsh is visible in four sections, although is likely to have been one originally running from TF 9967 4434 to TF 9996 4431. The bank is approximately 3.5m wide and the longest sections vary in length from 15.5m to 112m.
