Map

October 2002. Norfolk NMP.
The cropmarks of parched linear feature are visible on 1946 RAF aerial photographs (S1). The feature starts at the edge of the field and it is therefore likely that it is a field boundary, possibly the remains of a banked hedgeline. However, as it does not continue the length of the field, this is not definite. The parchmark is 3m wide and runs from the eastern edge of the field at TF 9712 4137 for 47m and is not visible past TF 9708 4136.
S. Massey (NMP), 21 February 2003.
