Full Description
October 2002. Norfolk NMP.
Two conjoined earthwork linear features, likely to be post medieval field boundaries or land divisions, are visible aerial photographs (S1). They are probably post medieval in date and may be related to the layout of Stiffkey Park (NHER 30488) to theimmediate the south. The site consists of a curvilinear bank, 3m wide and approximately 140m long, which runs from TF 9764 4306 to TF 9768 4319. This curving boundary abuts up to an L-shaped ditch to the north, which is 4m wide, running from TF 9770 4320 to TF 9765 4323.
S. Massey (NMP), 12 March 2003.
