Summary

A small group of cropmark boundaries of unknown date are visible on aerial photographs to the south of the parish boundary between Hopton and Browston with Belton. These cropmarks are located within an extremely complex area of cropmarks dating from the late prehistoric onwards.

A small group of cropmark boundaries of unknown date are visible on aerial photographs to the south of the parish boundary between Hopton and Browston with Belton (S1-S2). The site is centred on TG 5110 0116. These cropmarks are located within an extremely complex area of cropmarks dating from the late prehistoric onwards.

The site consists of a number of double ditched boundaries or trackways, possibly indicating a further fragmentary phase of field boundaries within this area.
