Summary

In 2006 an archaeological watching brief was carried out during the stripping of topsoil along the Stoke Ferry to Downham Market Pipeline. No archaeological finds or features were recorded.

The results of the watching brief were entirely negative. However, much of the stripping of topsoil took place without archaeological supervision, which may have contributed to the negative outcome.
