Map

November 2006. Norfolk NMP
Cropmarks of linear ditches, field boundaries and incomplete enclosures of post medieval and unknown date are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2). These cropmarks are centred on TG 3470 1830. A group of linear ditch cropmarks are present on a mainly west to east alignment. These include some field boundaries that are marked on the 1818 Horning enclosure map (S3) such as one between TG 3465 1838 and TG 3492 1834. Cropmarks of two adjoining incomplete rectilinear enclosures are centred on TG 3463 1830. These enclosures measure at least 74m by 48m and 74m by 27m and lie just to the southeast of a medieval to post medieval road that is visible as cropmarks. Although the enclosures lie at a slightly different alignment to the road, they may be associated with it. Other short section of linear ditch cropmark of unknown date are also present.
