Map

November 2006. Norfolk NMP
Cropmarks of a possible medieval enclosure or moat are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred on TG 3472 1923. The enclosure is trapezoidal in plan with a 6m wide ditch cropmark defining its west, south and east sides. It measures 52m by 39m internally. The north side of the enclosure lies adjacent to a farm track and is not visible as a cropmark. A smaller enclosure cropmark is present adjoining the inside of the eastern ditch of the enclosure. It is also defined by a 6m wide ditch cropmark and measures 20m by 16m internally. This enclosure could be a moat and is probably of medieval to early post medieval date.
