Map

November 2006. Norfolk NMP
Cropmarks of a medieval to post medieval field boundary and possible track are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred on TG 3264 1889. A group of three parallel linear ditches are present on a southwest to northeast alignment. Their position corresponds to a field boundary marked on the Hoveton St Peter enclosure map (S2). It is possible that this boundary also marked the line of a track shown on Faden’s 1797 Map of Norfolk (S3). A linear ditch cropmark is present on a parallel alignment 117m to the northwest. It is possible that this is a field boundary of medieval to post medieval date.
