Map

November 2006. Norfolk NMP
Cropmarks of a undated enclosure are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmark are centred on TG 3275 1904. Two sides of an incomplete rectilinear cropmark are present. It is defined by a narrow ditch and measures at least 60m by 33m externally. A linear ditch cropmark is present parallel to and 8m to the southwest of the enclosure It is possible that it defines part of a trackway associated with the enclosure. The cropmarks are cut by an extant track that is the modern survival of a road or track shown on Faden’s 1797 Map of Norfolk (S2). It is likely that the enclosure is of at least medieval date.
