Cropmarks of incomplete rectilinear enclosures and linear ditches of unknown date are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred on TG 3155 1864. An incomplete rectilinear enclosure is located at TG 3160 1866. It is defined by a 1.5m wide ditch on its southwest, northwest and northeast sides. Its southeast side is not visible as a cropmark. Internally the enclosure measures 24m by at least 17m. Extending to the southwest of this enclosure are intermittent linear ditch cropmarks. It curves to the southeast at its southwest end and may partly define another rectilinear enclosure. Within this possible enclosure is a ditch cropmark forming a right angle with a rounded corner. This may also define an incomplete rectilinear enclosure that measures at least 29m by 31m. A further linear ditch cropmark is present on a northwest to southeast alignment. The date and function of these cropmarks is uncertain, although they may be associated with a post medieval road which followed the field boundary immediately to their east (NHER 45287).
