Cropmarks of rectilinear enclosures of unknown date are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred on TG 3313 1642. A group of at least five incomplete rectilinear enclosures are present on a north to south axis. The most complete enclosure has a parallelogram shaped plan and lies in the north of the group. It has internal dimensions of 34m by 36m. Adjoining its south side is a trapezoidal enclosure that measures between 19m and 34m wide by 62m long. Adjoining its south side is a further incomplete enclosure with internal dimensions of 39m by at least 52m. Other possible rectilinear enclosures appear to lie adjacent to these, but they are too incomplete for their form and dimensions to be determined. The alignment of these enclosures does not correspond to the post medieval field pattern and their date and function is uncertain. Other undated enclosure and linear ditch cropmarks are located to the southwest (NHER 49161-2).
