Map

November 2006. Norfolk NMP.
A cropmark of an incomplete rectilinear enclosure or field boundaries of possible post medieval date is visible on aerial photographs (S1). This cropmark is centred on TG 3011 1599. The enclosure is sub-square in plan with a narrow ditch and internal dimensions of 76m by at least 69m. The north side of the enclosure is not visible as a cropmark. Although the alignment of this enclosure or group of field boundaries is similar to that of the modern field pattern, it does not appear on the 1841 Salhouse tithe map (S2).
